Accounting Manager (General Ledger and Accounting Control)

Responsibilities:

Work independently to perform month-end closing and prepare reports at management's requests
Support implementation of projects on accounting systems
Perform examination of compliance in accounting policies
Participate in developing and maintaining procedure manuals
Prepare analytical reports, participate in ad hoc projects to support management's decision and departmental operation

Requirements:

Degree with major in Accounting, Finance or related discipline
Qualified member of HKICPA or other professional accountancy bodies
At least 5 years' banking experience in financial reporting or audit experience in a Big Four/recognized reputable accounting firm or banking industry, of which 1 year in a managerial position
Sound knowledge of HKFRS, IFRS and relevant regulations
Excellent analytical skills and critical mindset, capable of examining and analyzing financial and management information with business acumen
Independent, self-motivated, well-organised and able to work under pressure with tight deadline
Strong collaboration and teamwork
High degree of flexibility in adaption to changes
Good presentation and writing skills in both Chinese and English. Chinese word processing skill is a must
Fluent in both spoken and written English and Chinese, including Mandarin
Strong mastery of MS Office, particularly in Excel and Word
