The Deloitte Motor Industry Services team areleading specialists in the automotive industry in Australia, and are continuingto grow our team of specialists in our Melbourne office.

Through this continued expansion, an opportunityhas arisen for an experienced Director to join the team on a full time basis.

About the Team
Deloitte's Motor Industry Services team workwholly within the automotive space, specialising in servicing both OEMwholesale network operations, and privately owned and operated motor dealersand related family investments. We are focussed on helping both motordealerships and OEM networks improve their businesses financial and operationalperformance.

We are currently in an important period ofchange within the automotive ecosystem, experiencing a more rapid rate ofchange than ever before. Through our experience, expertise, and diversity ofthought within our team, the Deloitte Motor Industry Services team is perfectlyaligned to partner with our clients to make an impact that matters.

What will your typical day look like?
As a Director in our Melbourne team, you willhave the opportunity to shape and drive the business.

Working with our Partners, you will beresponsible for leading the team and delivering to our clients, while remainingfocused on growing the business and identifying new opportunities to servicethe automotive market. You will also lead the performance, careers anddevelopment, of a group of talented staff.

Within our Deloitte Motor Industry Servicesteam, we focus on the following core functions:
• Consulting (project-based work)
• Training (competency, operational, leadership,etc.)
• Dealer Comparison Groups
• eProfitFocus Reporting (including DataAnalytics)
• Customer Experience advisory
• Dealership Advisory and Buy/Sell Transactions
• Future of Mobility / Dealership of the Future

We expect the new Director to lead many of thesecore functions within our Melbourne team.

Some of the key responsibilities of ourDirectors, beyond the core functions, will include:
• Growth and business development
• Leading tender processes
• Enhancing client relationships
• Managing budgets and administration
• Performance managing the careers of our team

Enough about us, let's talk about you
An experienced Director, with a passion fordeveloping talent within the team, you will also possess the following skillsand attributes:

• Prior Senior Manager or Director levelexposure, at an automotive-focused organisation.
(this may be in a Dealership operation, an OEMorganisation, another Supplier, or a Professional Services firm)
• A strong client focus is a must, in order tomanage a portfolio of diverse clients and engagements simultaneously.
• Strong communication and presentation skills,and a proven interest and willingness to get involved in business developmentinitiatives to help continue to grow the business.
• Proven experience building and leading highperforming teams, with a service excellence approach.
