The role
As the Accounts Payable Administrator, you will be responsible for processing/parking vendor invoices, credit notes one-time vendor, customer refunds, debit memos and any authorised vendor account adjustments in an accurate and timely manner in accordance with KPIs/SLAs and payment terms, as well as following up parked invoices/credit notes in a timely manner and liaising with the market and Supply Chain teams to resolve vendor disputes and queries. You will be responsible for preparation of the weekly payment proposal and rent payments for approval by the Accounts Payable, and any other out of cycle requests, as well as performing vendor statement reconciliations and pro-actively resolving identified discrepancies.
Ideal experience
You will be educated to 'A’ level standard or equivalent, and ideally have experience of working in an international finance environment. You must have a sound knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel is essential) and knowledge of SAP/BW or similar systems. Experience of working in an FMCG/Retail environment will be preferable. You will possess excellent organisational skills combined with accuracy and attention to detail, and an ability to resolve problems with a resilient disposition.
