-Maintain the books of accounts for the Joint Venture Assets / Licenses as per the provisions of the Joint Operating Agreements (JOA) and agreed standard such as Standard Oil Accounting Procedures (SOAP) UK and applicable standards from time to time.
-Total compliance with JOA provisions as appropriate to your area.
-Adhere control process and procedures approved by the Management in the respective areas on the Joint Venture Accounting.
-Adhere the time lines per JOA provisions and Internal reporting time table as issued.
-Interaction with Business Partners / Cost Engineers / Budget holders / Asset Managers and other department officials in order to obtain the required details / information to complete the month end process on Joint Venture Accounting.
-Ensure the month end closure process are adhered to complete the joint venture costs on Gross basis for Partner Reporting, including VoWD preparation and booking of all necessary journals entries in Sun6 financial transaction accounting system.
-Review of Gross book transactions recorded for each month and rectify the transactions if required before running the Cutback process for net reporting.
-Prepare and issue of Joint Venture Billings, Cash and bank reconciliation Statements, Cost Carry Statements and periodical Cash Calls after JV Manager / Finance Manager review as appropriate.
-Ensure AFE internal and external reporting.
-Respond to Joint Venture Partners queries on Billings / Cash Calls if required.
-Completion of monthly balance sheet reconciliations and ensure to correct and pass the necessary journals in the next month.
-Assist and respond to partner queries and support -Finance Committee and Operating Committee as on when required.
-Planning, co-ordination and close out of partner Joint Venture Audits for the current period and open items on previous audit points. Act as a focal point for all Joint Venture Audit.
-Support external / internal audits and prepare / assist necessary pre-work, including but not limited to balance sheet reconciliations.
-Creation of Annual Opex cost codes for Maximo invoice routing.
-Active participation on Continuous Improvement Initiatives on JV Controls and desk top procedures.
-Adhere JV performance targets against agreed KPIs for periodical reporting to Management.
-Responsible for maintaining the integrity of JV financial data held in the General Ledger (Sun6 & Maximo) Work closely with colleagues across Finance and Commercial to ensure seamless service delivery.
-Assist the Business Partners on Cash Flow Forecasts as on when required.

-Ad hoc reporting and communication as may be required from time to time.
