Market leading organisation based in Basingstoke, Hampshire seek to recruit a CIMA/ACA/ACCA Head of Finance to guide the company through a period of sustained expansion.
Head of Finance - About The Role
Excellent opportunity to undertake a busy challenging role within an exciting market sector. A dynamic & successful organisation who are expanding operations annually.
Reporting to the CEO, the Head of Finance will be part of the Senior Management team and will act as Financial Business Partner to Operational and Commercial Directors. Key duties of the Head of Finance will include:
* Producing Consolidated statutory accounts and liaison with company auditors
* Completion of monthly management accounts in accordance with corporate deadlines
* Overseeing the work of a small accounting team of 3
* Finance business partner to commercial & operations Directors
* Producing rolling monthly cashflow forecasts
* Responsible for setting annual budgets and budget review meetings
* Driving improvements in finance & operational systems & procedures
* Attending monthly board meetings to discuss analysis & recommendations regarding company financial performance
* Maintaining strong relations with banks & financial institutions
* Variance analysis and reporting
* Producing monthly KPIs for management review
The successful Head of Finance will have:
You will be ACCA/CIMA/ACA Qualified with a proven track record accounting & Finance. Ideally applicants will have experience as a Head of Finance or Financial Controller within an SME environment.
In addition, you will have excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships at executive level and challenge existing methods when appropriate.
