Head of Finance

This role will put the successful candidate in a unique position giving them the opportunity to:*Put their own stamp on the finance function.*Build and maintain key relationships with budget holders across the organisation. *Become involved in the future development of the organisation inside and outside of the finance department.*Work for a line manager who prides themselves in helping their staff to build a successful career within accountancy.Day to day duties will include:*Management of the finance team ensuring all reports are produced accurately.*Producing the management accounts for two separate entities.*Preparing monthly reports for budget holders and the senior management team. *Liaising with budget holders providing financial information to both finance and non-finance staff.*Mitigating any financial risks. *Overseeing payroll for the entities within the charity.The successful candidate will:*Be a Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, etc.). *Have experience of preparing management accounts, working on budgets and have experience business partnering. *Be an excellent communicator who is able to quickly and effectively build relationships. *Have previous supervisory or management experience.
