Job role
Business analyst
Working within our PMO and Trading finance operations team, you will contribute to the delivery of a project that enhances our Commodities and Global Markets finance reporting, taking end-to-end accountability for all analysis activities from inception through to delivery. You will bring your background and demonstrated experience in business analysis and project delivery and be confident working across finance and technology teams.

This role will see you engaging with project managers, product owners, technology team-members and business subject matter experts to gather requirements and acquire an understanding of current state processes, business context, and opportunities to improve. You'll also work to facilitate and drive workshops to gather feedback and review business requirements, as well as document business and functional requirements, manage day to day relationships and requirements with development teams, and act as the key contact between the business and technical teams.

Using your technical skills, you will:
  • drive the definition of quality of service (non-functional) requirements
  • capture which existing requirements are to be inherited by the initiative
  • work closely with the technical analysts to translate requirements into technical specifications.

To be successful in this role we would like you to have experience working on projects in the financial services industry. You will also have:
  • proven experience as a Business Analyst working on business change projects and/or new platform implementations
  • exceptional problem solving skills
  • ability to balance multiple competing priorities and effectively manage expectations.

In addition, a Charted Accountant qualification would be advantageous for this role, as well as experience working on Agile projects.
