Senior Finance Project Manager - 18-Month Max Term Contract (Sydney, Australia Based Only)
As an experienced Finance Project Manager, you will report to the Financial Management Group's Operations Portfolio Manager, and work to deliver a major project in accordance with an internal governance framework. Leveraging your excellent verbal and written communication skills, you will forge and develop effective working relationships across a wide range of senior stakeholders and influence end-to-end project and work stream management, manage cross functional relationships at the executive level and take ownership of key client engagements at a global level.
Working across our global teams, you will develop and implement Target Operating Models, and ultimately, you will develop and maintain high quality project and pipeline artifacts and reporting, while partnering with operations groups. You will be responsible for the delivery of the project and implementing solutions in a timely manner, being aware of risks, project budget and issues at all times, so your sound organisational skills are a must. You will facilitate problem solving and work on balance sheets and be involved with other small-scale Accounting work so a background and understanding of Accounting is a must.
Your technical skills and qualifications will include a tertiary degree in Accounting or similar, project management and change management experience in leading finance projects, and a CA/CPA/CIMA qualification. Experience working for a large organisation with global stakeholders across different time zones and different cultural backgrounds will be advantageous. You will motivate and lead the project team by leading and influencing the project stakeholders confidently, and strong Prince2, PMI or Six Sigma Green Belt qualifications will also be beneficial. This role is an 18-month max term contract or possibly a permanent opportunity for the right individual.
