A fantastic entry-level opportunity for you to join our Macquarie Asset Management group as an Asset Valuation and Data Management Associate on a contract basis. Supporting our successful Asset Management business, you will be joining the team responsible for the daily valuation of securities, performing the static creation, maintenance & data quality controls and performing valuation validation control in adherence to Asset Management Pricing Policy.
You will be assisting in the daily valuation of securities across all listed and OTC securities for a wide range of security types. You will need to leverage your understanding of standard methodologies used for valuation of assets as you will be required to perform valuation validation controls and checks on all security prices. In addition to this you will be performing static creation, maintenance and enrichment process for data domains managed by the teams as well as assisting in the maintenance and review of benchmark levels used for portfolio performance reporting purposes. You will also be managing administration of business users for accesses to external websites and portals.
To be successful in this role, it is desirable to have overall post-qualification experience with a financial institution, preferable working in a Reference Data or Pricing team for a Global Custodian or an Asset Manager. You will have excellent communication skills and ability to adhere to strict team service level agreement with clients. You are also someone with a team orientated approach coupled with good organisational skills and attention to detail. Prior system experience in Blackrock Aladdin, Simcorp Dimension, Markit, Thinkfolio, Bloomberg, EaglePace, PEGA etc is desirable but is not a requirement for this role.
