•Assist in the development of a forward looking capital management reporting that facilitates analysis of underlying value of clients sectors/products/geography’s on a risk adjusted return on capital basis, stress testing and other capital management activities.
•Partner with Risk on RWA optimization initiatives.
•Assist in the management of capital within the Groups stated Risk Appetite.
•Independent review of the Group and International ICAAPs.
•Monitor international regulatory capital developments and provide appropriate assistance to international locations in the management of this.
•Line manager of Specialist Capital Management, and oversee the following tasks: deployment of capital, charging of capital, inter-group guarantee registry, and production of G-ALCO slides.
•Co-ordinate new business sign off across GT teams.
•Analyse projections for business growth and risk weighted asset growth to ensure the Group is well placed to support future needs and to comply with the internal capital ratio directives.
•Ensure there are appropriate and documented internal controls and procedures.
•Assist across Group Treasury as required
•Deputize for the Head of Capital Management as required.
•Assist in the delivery of RWA optimisation for Group.
•Improve the quality of International ICAAPs
•Enhance the Capital Management analysis provided to G-ALCO.
•Roll out of a forward looking capital management engine
•Minimum 8 years relevant experience with strong regulatory capital knowledge, experience of capital management (not reporting).
•Accounting or CFA qualification would be beneficial
•MS Office skills
•Ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels
