Portfolio Manager

Reed Financial Services are currently working with a well-established Wealth Management Company. They are looking for an IMC Qualified Portfolio Manager to join them in their impressive central London offices.

This role will initially be a 12 month contract to cover a period of maternity with the position going permanent thereafter.

As well as implementing investment decisions the project manager will work closely with the investment manager, but will also use an element of discretion when performing individual trades. Such trades may be because:

- Acting on switch/sell instruction from stock selection committee
- Phasing in new money
- Raising cash when required
- Adjusting portfolio after change in mandate
- Rebalancing to maintain asset allocation

It’s important the PM has a very good operational understanding of all the securities brought. Excel skill and strong Investment and fund knowledge is essential.
