Branch Manager

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Ensures the growth of the Retail and Commercial Business Ensures the growth of the Deposit Portfolio and Investment products as marketed and sold under First Citizens Depository Services Limited (FCDSL) and First Citizens Investment Services (FCIS) Manages the assets and liabilities of the Branch and ensures its profitability Reviews the Operational Daily Checklist to ensure that essential functions are executed within the Bank's policies and procedures Ensures that the quality of the Loan Portfolio is maintained Monitors the operational performance of the Branch to ensure growth and profitability in the loans, deposits and all other Bank products and services being sold through the Branch Approves credit facilities within assigned limit and ensures the adherence to guidelines and procedures Ensures Branch compliance with internal and external policies and procedures; Anti Money Laundering (AML) policies and procedures Responsible for safety drills Markets the Bank, its products and services to grow the Retail and Commercial Business (both Loans and Deposits) Recommends Branch staffing levels within the guidelines and in consultation with the Cluster Manager Manages the budget and accounts for variances for the efficient and professional operation of the Branch Manages the human resources necessary for the efficient and professional operation of the Branch Performs all other duties, assignments and special projects as assigned by the Board of Directors and Senior Management relative to the function QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE Candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree in a Business related field from a reputable University or other professional qualification from a recognized professional body eg. CFA, CIMA, ACCA and Five (5) years progressive experience in Banking, at least two (2) of which must be at a Managerial Level
