My client, a leading Accountancy firm with a network of offices covering a wide region, providing services to the small business market are seeking to employ an Apprentice Accounting Technician. You may be a School or College leaver seeking an opportunity to grow a career within an Accounting Practice environment and be motivated to complete relevant accounting qualifications and progress within the organisation as your experience grows.
The role will be based in Wrexham, however you my undertake occasional studies in other branches in North Wales, therefore a driving licence and a vehicle are essential due to occasional requirement to mobilise between offices.
You will have the opportunity to do relevant accounting qualifications alongside on the job training.
You will have genuine opportunities to grow and develop your career in-line with your individual ambition. There are no limits to what you can achieve if you have the desire, as you will be fully supported and developed, regardless of your current level of experience.
Once trained, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of small business clients providing accounting services including bookkeeping, VAT, payroll , Accounts production, self assessment tax returns (Sole Traders, Partnerships, and Ltd Companies).
You will be comfortable talking to small business owners about their accounting records and tax returns and ensuring deadlines are met.
You will be fully supported with training and development, and you will have vast opportunities to grow and develop within the organisation.
The salary will commence at apprentice/national minimum wage/national living wage level, with an opportunity to grow this over a short period of time as your experience develops, and you will also receive a 20% annual bonus.
You will also receive a pension and private bupa health care in addition to other standard benefits
