Experienced and enthusiastic Bookkeeper required by Accountancy Practice based near the West End in London. You will be providing the full Bookkeeper service for a multitude of clientele. Being able to work independently and complete Bookkeeping accurately and quickly is of vital importance in this fast past Accounting Practice.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a Bookkeeping role within a busy Accounts Practice. You will be familiar using Xero and Sage to deliver reconciliations, VAT returns, and be flexible with Ad-Hoc duties and client’s individual needs.
This role involves client contact and communication, and may require site visits to clients, so Bookkeeper’s with their own means of transport is beneficial, as well as the ability to work competently at clients and prepare Bookkeeping.
Bookkeeper Position Overview
* Bank reconciliations
* Debtors / Creditors reconciliation
* Arranging sales invoices
* Arranging payments
* Quarterly VAT returns
* Managing the client / correspondence with the client often on a daily basis
* Ad-Hoc duties where required
* Report preparation as and when required
Bookkeeper Position Requirements
* Practice experience is essential
* Competent with Sage and/or Xero software
* Bookkeeping experience essential
* AAT or QBE candidates are welcome to apply
* Excellent communication skills are necessary
Bookkeeper Position Remuneration
* £16,000 - £22,000 dependant on experience
* 28 day’s holiday including bank holidays
* Company pension
