Project Accountant

This is a newly created project based Finance Manager position. The successful candidate will be responsible for taking a lead on various finance projects across the business ranging in scope and size.

My client is a well established engineering business with various sites across the UK. They have grown considerably over the last 5 years and this role comes as a result of increased growth and demand in workload as a result.

Description

This is a project focused role where the successful candidate will take an active lead in ad hoc finance related projects across the business. The successful candidate will be a proven business partner to operations and take a hands on approach in advising non-finance stakeholders on cost saving initiatives and project costing activity.

Profile

In order to apply for this role please ensure you meet the criteria below:

• ACA /ACA / CIMA qualified
• 2+ years experience within a project focused role
• Strong communicator and proven success in a business partnering role
• Experience working within a manufacturing / engineering business
• Strong systems skills (SAP)
