A leading well known organisation with operations throughout the UK and in Leeds.
Description
The interim Retail Accountant based in Leeds will support the business by leading a team to provide accurate monthly accounts and reporting. Responsibilities will include:
- Management of a small team
- Production of accurate monthly accounts and relevant commercial commentary
- Production of statutory accounts
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Ad-hoc analysis and projects
- Building strong relationships with key stakeholders
- Work with the wider finance team to promote continuous improvement and make suggestions for process development
Profile
The successful candidate for this retail accountant role will be:
- A fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Proven commercial management accounting experience
- A proactive and team focussed approach
- Ability to communicate and influence at a senior level
- Ideally experience within this or a similar sector
