Management Accountant

This is an exciting role for a part qualified or finalist Management Accountant to join a business based in central Bristol

Our client is a leading investment business with an excellent reputation in the South West, they are currently recruiting for a Management Accountant to join them on a permanent basis to provide support to the Financial Controller

Description

Key job functions of the Management Accountant;

• Company Accounting - bank recs, VAT, quarterly reports, demand and collect Rent & Service Charge, process supplier invoices
• Demand and collect rent and service charge for the Regional Portfolios
• Liaise with Credit Control to agree actions on arrears
• Process Landlord and Service Charge expenditure invoices for designated managed portfolio
• Administer Service Charge expenditure for the designated managed property portfolio - prepare annual budgets and quarterly forecasts
• Prepare monthly client accounts for all managed properties
• Prepare an annual 'Statutory' accounts pack for balanced service charge for all multi-let properties/sites
• To reconcile cash books with the bank statements and monitor cash balances for managed portfolio
• Complete VAT reporting for all VAT registered clients
• Process Improvement projects

Profile

The successful candidate will be studying towards a professional accountancy qualification (CIMA/ACCA) and will have a proven track record in a similar role. Experience in client accounts is not essential but would be an advantage

A competitive salary of up to £40,000 is on offer for the successful candidate, depending on experience and qualifications
