Providing finance and accountancy services to the Organisation. You will play a lead role in the management accounting reporting, preparation of the annual budget, annual business plan, regulatory and statutory compliance and returns.

Description

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead the annual budget and quarterly forecast processes
  • Lead the preparation of monthly management accounts
  • Lead the annual preparation of the rolling five-year forecast
  • Assist in the preparation of the financial Business Plan
  • Be the Finance lead for development scheme appraisal & programme reporting
  • Preparation of Regulatory Returns to the Regulator of Social Housing
  • Provide effective line management and leadership

    • Profile

    The successful candidate will be:

  • ACA, ACCA or CIMA Qualified with strong post qualification experience.
  • Strong understanding of UK GAAP, IFRS, etc.
  • Experience of preparing budgets, management accounting reporting and business planning.
  • Experienced in managing people
  • Advanced excel and modelling skills
  • Experience in finance accounting systems and business processes and controls.
  • Previous experience within the social housing sector.

    £55,000 - £60,000 per annum dependent on experience and a generous benefits package
