A Senior Management Accountant role has arisen at an NHS Trust for an experienced accountant to join the team while they go through a busy spell.
As a key interface between the finance department and the operational managers, you will be responsible for delivering the monthly management accounts for your area in addition to dealing with a range of queries related to the management information that have arisen in the course of daily business and operations. In addition to the to the monthly reporting, you will also be responsible for the costing and pricing of services, which will include close working with the costing, income and information teams.
You should an experienced management accountant, with a strong technical understanding and the ability to apply common sense to a range of situations. Ideally you will have gained these skills working within an NHS acute environment. You should be happy to roll-up your sleeves, investigate and resolve complicated issues. Key to this position are strong communication skills, as you will be working with a wide range of people at varying levels, and good Excel abilities in order to handle data.
