Financial Accountant

This is a hands on Financial Accountant role that sits in the group function of a growing, privately owned media group. You will be supporting the Group Reporting Manager to produce both the financial and management accounts.

My client is a privately owned organisation operating across media, events, and websites. Based across multiple London sites, this role sits in their modern Group HQ in Brentford. They are in a period of organic and acquisitional growth and are a leader in the field. Due to this growth, they require a Financial Accountant to join their team in a newly created role.

Description

The Financial Accountant will form a key member of the Group team and will report directly to the Group Reporting Manager and be responsible for:

• Assisting in the preparation of the statutory accounts
• Preparation of the financial accounts
• Reconciling the bank and balance sheet
• Assisting with the management accounts and board packs
• Variance analysis
• Ad-hoc work as required

Profile

The successful candidate will likely be a newly qualified accountant from industry or practice, with a strong technical accounting understanding. ERP systems experience is essential.

Job Offer

The Financial Accountant role comes with a competitive base salary circa £45,000-50,000 and a comprehensive benefits package.
