An excellent company, with a reputation for low staff turnover and a fast paced environment, are looking for a Payroll Manager to join their team.
Description
As a Payroll Manager, you will report into the Finance Director, responsible for managing a fast paced payroll department.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: managing a team of payroll clerks, including coaching, 121s, recruitment and appraisals; managing the completion of payroll for a number of payroll services; adhering to payroll controls; undertaking year end projects; bank reconciliations; ensuring targets are met and compliance in adhered to.
Profile
The successful candidate will:
- Have recent knowledge of working in a high volume transaction payroll position - Essential
- Be studying towards/Would like to study CIPP - Essential
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills - Essential
- Have strong IT skills, particularly MS Excel - Essential
