I am working with a fantastic PE-backed education business who are in need of a dynamic hands-on number 2 to join the finance team. The business was acquired by the PE backer 2 years ago and has experienced incredible growth - making them market leaders in their industry.

I am working with a fantastic PE-backed education business who are in need of a dynamic hands-on number 2 to join the finance team. The business was acquired by the PE backer 2 years ago and has experienced incredible growth - making them market leaders in their industry.
The Role:
- Being the right-hand person in the business to the CFO/CEO.
- Leading the audit and statutory accounts.
- Managing a team of four.
- Updating the current forecast and building cash flow models from scratch.
- Presenting to senior stakeholders on a monthly business.
- Analysing P&L and cash flow.
- Being able to present financial data to non-finance people (sales staff).
- Overseeing and reviewing the management accounts.
The Requirements:
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA (fully qualified)
- Experience working in Private Equity is essential (must be recently and for a significant period of time).
- Experience of managing a team (you will have multiple direct reports at a more junior level who will need guidance).
- Understanding of multiple revenue streams - the business currently has 3.
- Proficient Excel skills (be able to manipulate financial models).
- Ideally a 2-week notice period.
