Leading Marketing business in Milton Keynes looking for a progressive Credit Controller to joining the team.

Description

Credit Controller Responsibilities:

• Dealing with internal queries about payments, ensuring customers pay on time and negotiating re-payment plans
• Ensure that debts are paid in a timely manner
• Regularly making contact with customers to ensure all relevant debts are managed as necessary
• Identify changes in payment patterns and propose action to avert indebtedness
• Meet cash & debtor day targets set by the business
• Providing ad-hoc reporting as and when requested by management
• Undertake account reconciliations as required
• Chase overdue invoices by telephone, email & letter within agreed timescales
• Maintain accurate records of all chasing activity
• Ensure that all customer transactions in the booking system are compliant with our terms and conditions
• Ensure monthly processing deadlines are met as required
• Send out daily and weekly debtor reports
• Manage the product invoicing and payment process with Venues and other suppliers

Profile

Credit Controller Requirements:

• Previous experience in Cash Collections and dealing with external clients directly
• Robust, resilient, calm under pressure and flexible
• Demonstrate a positive and solution driven mind-set.
• Strong analytical and numeracy skills, with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Good negotiation and influencing skills
• Good team player with ability to build strong relationships with Partners/Engagement Managers and other key stakeholders
• Confident, with a proven ability to challenge appropriately at all levels
• Ability to balance multiple priorities by considering risk, importance and level of urgency
• Customer focused and responsive with good commercial acumen / judgement
• Excellent communicator - both written and oral
