Leading Marketing business in Milton Keynes looking for a progressive Credit Controller to joining the team.

Description
Credit Controller Responsibilities:
- Dealing with internal queries about payments, ensuring customers pay on time and negotiating re-payment plans
- Ensure that debts are paid in a timely manner
- Regularly making contact with customers to ensure all relevant debts are managed as necessary
- Identify changes in payment patterns and propose action to avert indebtedness
- Meet cash & debtor day targets set by the business
- Providing ad-hoc reporting as and when requested by management
- Undertake account reconciliations as required
- Chase overdue invoices by telephone, email & letter within agreed timescales
- Maintain accurate records of all chasing activity
- Ensure that all customer transactions in the booking system are compliant with our terms and conditions
- Ensure monthly processing deadlines are met as required
- Send out daily and weekly debtor reports
- Manage the product invoicing and payment process with Venues and other suppliers
Profile
Credit Controller Requirements:
- Previous experience in Cash Collections and dealing with external clients directly
- Robust, resilient, calm under pressure and flexible
- Demonstrate a positive and solution driven mind-set.
- Strong analytical and numeracy skills, with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Good negotiation and influencing skills
- Good team player with ability to build strong relationships with Partners/Engagement Managers and other key stakeholders
- Confident, with a proven ability to challenge appropriately at all levels
- Ability to balance multiple priorities by considering risk, importance and level of urgency
- Customer focused and responsive with good commercial acumen / judgement
- Excellent communicator - both written and oral
