A well-known brand based in Watford are currently seeking 2 x Credit Controllers to join them on a temporary basis.

Reporting to the Credit Control Manager, you will be responsible for supporting all areas of the accounts receivable function including issuing invoices, managing parts of the ledger, chasing debtors and dealing with customer queries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Chasing customers for settlement of unpaid amounts
  • Taking ownership of queries and seeing them through to a satisfactory conclusion
  • Ownership of the weekly BACS submission process
  • Preparing the debt/payment information for our customers and reporting the data to management (internally) on a weekly basis.
  • To achieve the targets set for collections ensuring the team meet their KPI's.
  • Support the process of credit checking
  • Supporting the period end reporting process, ensuring timelines are met
  • Build and maintain relationships with the business
  • Contribute to the terminal recovery process.

Skills & Experience Needed:
  • Experienced credit controller with a proven delivery of reducing bad debt.
  • Excellent systems experience with advanced Excel skills
  • Excellent communication skills

  • Education - GCSE C or above in English and Maths
  • Ability to work with web based platforms (i.e. banking and credit card platforms)
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Positive and pro-active attitude.
  • Experience of using SAP desirable
  • Attention to detail a must
  • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team

This is an ongoing temporary role and the hourly rate will be between £13-£17 an hour depending on level of experience.
