Description
Key responsibilities of the Year End Accountant:
- Support the Group Accountant with all elements of the Year End
- Collaboration with finance and non-finance staff to deliver accurate Statutory accounts
- Streamlining of year end process
- General support of the financial accounting team
- Preparing statutory notes
- Deliver all statutory disclosures
- Day to day liaison with auditors and tax advisors
- Adherence with FRS 102 and SORP
- Assistance with value for money statements
Profile
The successful Year End Accountant:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Strong technical and practical knowledge of financial accounting e.g FRS102 and SORP
- Professional with strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work to deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail
- Experience within the housing sector
Job Offer
Daily rate between £200 - £240
