Leading High growth Engineering investment group looking for a commercially minded and cost focused Finance Analyst in order to provide accurate month end management accounting and detailed financial analysis to this Ipswich Business
Client Details
This Global Engineering investment group have multiple sites nationally and have a great culture of promoting from within and this role is no exception with this Finance Analyst role taking ownership of month end and accounting the full costs and KPIs for the multiple business units. With autonomy on offer and study support they are looking for a part qualified accountant with exposure to at least assisting in month end with accruals, prepayments and journals expertise.
Description
Finance Analyst duties and responsibilities;
- Full month end management accounts production
- cost accounting and analysis
- KPI analysis
- Accruals, prepayments and journal postings
- overseeing the transactional month end
- ad hoc financial analysis including assisting the FC in budgeting and forecasting
Profile
Finance Analyst desired experience and character traits of the successful individual
- Part qualified accountant/ Finance Analyst in ACCA or CIMA (Study support on offer)
- Cost accounting/ manufacturing or engineering industry experience
- proactive and commercially minded character
- hard working
- Experience at least assisting in month end management accounting
- Strong excel and systems capability
- confident communicator able to business partner with operational staff to drive improvements, mainly focused around cost reduction
- Based in or around Ipswich
