This position will supervise the day to day operations of the accounts team. You will work closely with the Finance Manager to implement efficient processes and continuously improve the service of the accounts team.

Description
As the Accounts Supervisor you will be responsible for the following:
- Coordinate and assign work to the three Accounts Assistants
- Process invoices for payment and correctly charge client, firm or personal accounts
- Process payroll payments
- Create and maintain Excel charts for various analyses
- Approve vendor maintenance on the accounting system for London and Europe
- Perform account reconciliations
- Check bank statements and balances for accuracy
- Participate in recruitment activities such as interviews
- Provide accounts training for both incoming and current staff
- Assess and provide accounts department specific training to accounts assistants on internal systems and processes
- Recommend additional / external training for assistants to Finance Manager
- Provide feedback and participate in the Accounts Assistants performance reviews
- Point of contact for both staff generally and the Accounts Payable team for queries
- Liaise with internal support departments and the Firm's global offices, as necessary
Profile
To be considered for this Accounts Supervisor role you must have the following:
- Ability to manage a team of three on a daily basis
- Background within a similar role in a legal or professional services organisation
- Elite 3E and Chrome River experience highly desirable
