Assistant Group Financial Accountant

The client, an international private education firm, are looking for a Group Financial Accountant to join their team. They are based in Victoria, and they are looking for someone with knowledge of UK GAAP, and a working knowledge of the accounting softwares Navision, Cognos Controller, Hyperion and HFM.

The client is an international private education company, that specialise in both primary and secondary education. They have 61 day schools based all over the world (Asia, the Americas, Europe and the Middle East). They're looking for a financial accountant to join their team, based in South West London.

Description

The successful candidate will be:

• Assisting in the month-end process
• Preparation of yearly statutory accounts for annual audit
• Financial reporting and accounting support to regional finance team
• Ad-hoc management reports and analyses
• Help improve the efficiency of the monthly financial close process

Profile

The successful candidate will be:

• Have a degree in finance/accounting or related discipline from a recognised tertiary institution
• Have excellent communication skills
• Be hard working
• Have knowledge of UK GAAP
• Have a working knowledge of the accounting systems Navision, Cognos Controller, Hyperion and HFM
• Very good at Excel
