Our Client, a global award winning Branding / Marketing agency with offices around the world, has an exciting new role for an ambitious Financial Controller to join their Amsterdam studio.
As the Financial Controller reporting to the Finance Director you will be responsible for the day to day management of the finance team function, ensuring accurate Financial reporting at all times.

You will need to be a qualified accountant ideally from a previous Creative / Marketing agency background with previous experience of managing people with the ability to work in a demanding environment supporting a Finance Director.

Our Client, a global award winning Branding / Marketing agency with offices around the world, has an exciting new role for an ambitious Financial Controller to join their Amsterdam studio.
As the Financial Controller reporting to the Finance Director you will be responsible for the day to day management of the finance team function, ensuring accurate Financial reporting at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational financial management of P&Ls and balance sheets
- Preparation of forecasts and budgets to be reviewed with FD
- Ensure the Financial accuracy of month end reporting sign off of month end files
- Cost management in line with forecast Advise on where costs can be saved
- SoX compliance
- Liaise with internal and external auditors
- Technical support to the team to ensure accuracy and completion of the accounts
- New Vender and New Client on-boarding process and procedure review and approval
- PO and new vender review and approval
- Management of Group reporting requirements
- Ad hoc requests from various stakeholders
- Work with the US team on the data P&L
- VAT return review
- Taxation review
- Cost management in line with forecast, advise on where costs can be saved and liaison with budget holders
- Check and approve payments
- Net working capital management
- Day to day management of the finance team to ensure financial operations and completion of assigned tasks, duties and responsibilities
- Statutory Audit: file preparation and management to ensure timely completion of annual audit function
- Management of cash flow including foreign currency payments & hedging with Group Treasury
