Our client is an established Asset Management firm, and we are hiring for a Financial Controller to join their ranks. This role is based in Singapore.

- Liaise with other departments / service providers (including corporate services providers, fund administrator, investor services, tax advisors) to obtain information as required.
- Ensure proper approvals are obtained for all expenditures before any payments are made.
- Review all invoices and expense reimbursements made by the company to ensure GST is identified for GST return purposes.
- Prepare monthly financial reports for senior management, including the analysis of expenditures and revenue fluctuations.
- Complete payroll processing cycle.
- Perform foreign currency requirement cash flow analysis and management.
- Forecast and budget cash flow.
- Review management fee rebate calculations and reports and interact with the fund investors.
- Analyse costs incurred to ensure that costs are properly allocated to the company or allocate to another affiliate or investment funds.
- Analyse services performed by the Singapore company and adhere to transfer pricing policies, including the preparing of invoices for services rendered for affiliates.
- Review of the fund results as prepared by the fund administrators. Determine the impact on the financial operations of the company.
- Review the GST return and file with IRA. This includes the foreign currency revaluation from USD to SGD for tax filings.
- Review the quarterly MAS submissions
- Prepare placement fee calculation and reports and interaction with marketing firms/ placement agents.
- Review annual financial statements on an IFRS basis.
- Prepare annual audit working papers.
- Be responsible for the completion of the Financial Statement audits.
- Assist in tax reporting schedules for external accounting firm to complete Singapore tax returns.
