My client is a very rapidly growing SME that has big plans for its future.

Specialising in the telecommunications industry they have seen rapid growth year on year since they where established 8 years ago, The MD wants to take on an ambitious and experienced Management Accountant or Assistant Finance Manager to maintain the companies continued growth.

Description

This Finance Manager role will be responsible for;

*Managing the company's portfolio of accounts

*Lead finance role in the company.

*Providing financial input to drive the business, both short and long term.

*Co-ordinate and deliver budgets and forecasts.

*Providing commercial analytical support.

*Overseeing management accounts.

*Liaising with operations to ensure up to date and relevant information is communicated both ways.

*Production of financial reports for the business

*Production of financial reports for the bank

*KPI production and evaluation.

*Principle point of contact for audit and Year ending reporting and compliance.

*Review and recommend improvements in controls and procedures to drive cost saving initiatives.

*Up to date with changes in IFRS and the impact on the business.

*Ensure VAT compliance

*Management of the company's cash treasury

Profile

This Finance Manager opportunity will require the following skills and experience;

*Have Experience in a similar finance position, ideally Management Accountant / Assistant Management Accountant

*Have experience working in a small-medium enterprise background

*Be a confident user of Excel and Sage

*Experience using Sage 200, Sage Payroll (and Xero ideal)

*Effective communication skills, both written and verbal

*Organised and strong attention to detail

*CIMA or ACCA and reaching the end stages of these exams

*Ability to multi-task

*Be hardworking and have attention to details

*Effective time management and organisation skill with the ability to prioritise own workload

*Be a good team worker demonstrating loyalty and commitment to the organisation and team members
