Assistant Management Accountant

Page Personnel are working with a household name to recruit an Assistant Management Accountant to join a growing accountancy function based in Liverpool.

They will offer a highly diverse role which will give the Assistant Management Accountant some valuable exposure in what is a proven and progressive team, offering scope for development into a qualified finance role.

Description

Reporting to the Site Financial Controller, your duties will be:

• Assisting the production of monthly management accounts, including analysis of the P&L looking at cost of sales, cost of production, spend and overheads

• Assisting in the reconciliation of the balance sheet and other nominal / ledger reconciliations

• Support in the preparation of annual budgets with variance analysis and investigation, as well as monthly forecasting and re-forecasting

• Preparing weekly and monthly MI reports to be distributed across the rest of the business

Profile

For this role, it is essential you have the following:

• Some experience working in a fast paced finance role

• Great attitude and hungry to learn and progress within finance

• AAT Qualified / CIMA or ACCA part qualified accountant

• Good communicator with strong attention to detail

• Good Excel skills - look ups, pivots ideally
