For IT Internal Audit engagements, IARCS helps with bridging the communication gap between business executives and IT professionals. Our professionals assist clients to focus on fundamental business issues that help increase revenues, control costs, identify and manage risks, including risks inherent to the technology systems used to support business objectives. Our service offerings are closely aligned to our client’s business IT lifecycle to enable focused advisory efforts at all levels of the IT spectrum.

Responsibilities :

As a team member or manager, perform and/or lead IT-focused Internal Audits and IT Compliance Reviews which includes but not limited to the following:

• Assess the technology risks faced by clients and the extent to which existing controls address these risks.
• Assess system functionalities and business process controls to determine whether such systems meet key business requirements and are operating effectively.
• Assess system security from perspectives of physical, logical security administration and management to determine whether confidentiality and integrity of the systems are maintained.
• Assess computer operations controls, maintenance and support to determine if the management, backup and recovery processes as well as system performance standards are at effective and efficient levels.
• Analyse complex software licence agreements and entitlements, assist in data gathering, software deployment analysis, reconciling entitlements and deployments to identify non-compliance issues relating to licensing agreements on software end-users.
• Assess compliance with system and application development, cyber-security, operational and governance practices with relevant risk standards, policies and regulations.

Requirements :

• A Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology/Information Systems/Networking or any related field.
• Candidates with CISA, CISSP qualifications and/or related certifications and knowledge on COBIT (IT Governance and Framework would be an advantage).
• Exposure to a range of business processes from various industries would be ideal, but not essential. Likely industry exposure will include government, health, energy & natural resources, manufacturing and finance.
• Posseses analytical ability, is detail and research oriented, has good organisational, issue identification, prioritisation, resolution and report-writing skills.
• A team-oriented person with good communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Independent, self-motivated, organised and results oriented individuals capable of handling multiple engagements and meeting tight deadlines.
• Good command of English.
