As an Internal Audit Manager / Senior Manager you will participate in, or lead assessments of the quality and effectiveness of the internal control framework, risk management and governance systems. You will partner with the broader Risk Management team and executives from across the group in contributing to the continual improvement of over overarching risk management framework.
Key to your success in this role, you will be your prior experience as an audit professional with strong knowledge of Internal Audit (non-IT or IT) within the financial services sector gained from a consultancy or banking environment, and your strong grasp on associated Audit methodology.
You will be comfortable in dealing with several senior stakeholders across multiple business units and be able to demonstrate the ability to influence when required. You will have excellent communication skills and also possess the ability to liaise with, and influence stakeholders at all levels.

The Risk Management Group (RMG) is an independent, centralised unit responsible for assessing and monitoring risks across Macquarie.
