We are currently looking for experienced candidates, across a range of disciplines, to lead dynamic, diverse teams in delivering transformation projects. Role Description

These are challenging but fulfilling roles, where you will be required to play a lead role in managing delivery, engaging with clients and leading teams of consultants to deliver business focused solutions to a wide range of Financial Services clients.

As a manager, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the future direction of FSA through the application of skills and expertise to help shape our propositions and business solutions.

Responsibilities

Contingent on your area of expertise, you will have an opportunity to:

  • Work directly with clients to establish business objectives and develop deep, enduring relationships through continuously meeting their requirements
  • Solve business problems, through the application of fact based analysis and provide value adding solutions to clients
  • Lead teams during delivery phase and continue to maintain effective communications with clients to ensure that we meet their needs
  • Communicate effectively with Directors and Partners to actively manage the engagement direction, challenges, opportunities and to identify new business opportunities
  • Share market, regulatory and competitor knowledge with peers and contribute to Thought Leadership and Business Proposals

  • Leadership and Collaboration: Ability to manage teams across multiple workstreams, demonstrating passion to develop others and work together towards a common goal
  • Communication: Facilitating workshops, running senior management meetings and presenting to clients. Ability to distill large amounts of information into succinct messages. Strong proficiency in structuring and delivering presentations
  • Structured Thinking: Ability to break problems into their constituent parts and develop solutions in a coherent and structured manner
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to take a ‘big picture’ view to understand the wider context and consider all factors and influences so as to make informed choices
  • Attitude: Strong work ethic, client focus, proactive attitude to issue resolution, managing deadlines and delivering excellence
  • Business Acumen: Genuine hunger for work, understanding of the Financial Services environment and drive to identify business opportunities

Business Transformation and Strategic planning

  • Strategic frameworks
  • Financial modelling
  • Research (quantitative and qualitative) including industry/sectoral reviews and analysis

Operational excellence

  • Business process re-engineering/Lean Six Sigma
  • Target Operating Model (TOM) development and organisation structure reviews
  • Data Analytics (SQL, Teradata, Tableau, Python)

Programme and Project Management

  • Project management/PRINCE 2 project support (MS Project, Waterfall, Agile, SCRUM)
  • Business transformation and Change management
  • Stakeholder management, reporting and MI

Qualifications and Experience

  • Third level degree, with a strong academic record (requirement)
  • Masters or MBA (desirable)
  • Professional Qualification desirable (e.g. CIMA, APA, QFA)
  • Relevant Certification (e.g. Lean, SCRUM, Prince2)
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Operations, Strategy, Data or Change projects
  • Delivering projects and or organisational change programmes (experience in a leading consulting house beneficial)
  • Leading teams and managing people to deliver results in a demanding environment
  • Taking responsibility for the delivery of excellence in a demanding environment and to work directly with clients to achieve results
