About the opportunity:

You will combine your finance capability with programme and change management expertise to implement and embed improvements and deliver sustainable value. You will work to deliver and manage finance transformation projects in one or more of the following areas:-

  • Finance strategy development
  • Optimisation of procure to pay, order to cash and record to report business operations processes
  • Finance operating model design
  • Shared services design and implementation
  • Outsourcing advisory
  • Financial planning management and analysis (FPM&A)
  • Financial close, consolidation and reporting
  • ERP implementation support, project and change management
  • Data analytics and other automation implementations for finance organisations
  • Working with public and private sector clients across various industries
  • Working as part of a dedicated team who value new ideas and thought leadership

  • Core responsibilities will also include coaching and mentoring, performance appraisal and business development

About you:

5 years + post-qualification experience (PQE)

Core experience:

  • Prior consulting experience in finance transformation or
  • Worked on large scale finance transformation projects in industry or
  • Worked in a finance team or finance shared service team in industry with a understanding of finance function operations including Accounting, AP, AP, Tax, Cash Management, Financial planning and analysis.

Qualifications:

  • Part-qualified or qualified accountant with ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA or other accounting qualification or
  • Other finance qualification’s with a strong academic record

Other experience

  • Project of change management experience is preferable
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to professional and client service excellence
  • The ability to develop good working relationships is critical
  • Ability to effectively balance a number of tasks, work to deadlines, and produce quality deliverables
  • Initiative and a proactive approach, balanced with strong business acumen
