Management Accountant

The main remit of this South Lakes based Management Accountant role is to support the Finance Director, and preparing the monthly pack for the board.

You will also business partner with colleagues from around the business, investigating variance analysis and costings.

Description

The main responsibilities for this Management Accountant role based in Ulverston are as follows:

- Full management accounts preparation, preparing the accounts up to trial balance

- Multi-currency accounting

- Variance analysis

- Providing insightful analysis to key, senior stakeholders

- Pushing for cost improvements, use of standard costing techniques

- Multi-currency accounting

- Point of contact for tax and audit

- Inventory control

- Supporting the Accounts Assistant

- Working as part of a lean, close knit team

Profile

The successful candidate for this Ulverston based Management Accountant role will be:

• A qualified accountant or qualified by experience
• Ideally come with some prior experience of working in the manufacturing sector
• A confident communicator, able to work with finance and none finance stakeholders alike
• A competent accountant able to work at pace, in a subsidiary of a larger corporation - able to work to tight deadlines
• Able to interpret the accounts, and add value to the business
• Able to provide ideas for process improvements and ways to influence change

Job Offer

This Ulverston based Management Accountant role can offer a salary of £30,000 - £40,000 dependent on experience.
