Financial Controller

In this Financial Controller position, you will be responsible for managing a team of three, producing forecasts and budgets , mitigating and controlling risk across a number of areas, and taking full ownership and responsibility for the finance function, working closely with the Finance Director and CEO.

Description

- Partnering with all areas of the business including production for process improvements and evaluation

- Ownership of theIFRS management accounts

- Preparing and presenting to theEMEA board the monthly reports including commentary on comparison to plan and last year with bridge analysis

- Managing the reconciliation of balance sheet accounts and sign off

- Managing monthly forecasting and continued analysis of the business

- Providing analysis for the EMEA CFO and board on all major variances vs. budget vs forecast

- Implementation, adherence and testing of good practice controls

- Review and analysis ofcapex expenditure

- Financial modelling and KPI analysis changes as business needs required

- Margin analysis liaising with Group sales to aid in successful price tendering

Profile

For this Financial Controller, role we are looking for someone who is a qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA or ACCA), who is looking for a role focusing on management, mentoring, business analytics, partnering but also the planning and management information. You will have sound technical accounting knowledge as well; and whilst and management experience are desirable, they are not a pre-requisite for this role.

Job Offer

£55,000 - £60,000 for the position + 10/15% bonus depending on personal and company performance
