Description

• Ensure the timely reporting of all weekly and monthly financial information as part of the Business Unit finance team.
• Deliver a high standard of accounting service and generate measured deliverables, in collaboration with other business partners.
• Management of preparation of weekly & monthly KPI information for Business unit management teams.
• Management of the Forecasting & Budgeting process for divisional Reporting.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement projects of accounting and financial reporting processes with the goal to achieve best practices and optimal output.
• Ensure that effective financial control processes are in place and adhere to group policy.
• Ensure adherence to Capital Expenditure policy to include the recording of all items in project work in progress, maintaining pertinent records and ensuring adequate treatment of fixed asset acquisitions and disposals.
• Support information requirements of General Managers and Category Accountants.
• Where appropriate assist in re-engineering accounting processes, put in place controls and reporting to help minimize financial reporting error.
• Managing and implementing group financial audit recommendations within the division.

Profile

Qualified or QBE accountant with site based experience in manufacturing, strong business partnering skills and systems ability
