Commercial Accountant

The Commercial Accountant role would be a perfect fit an experienced and progressive finance professional looking to take their career to the next level. Within this role the Commercial Accountant will play an integral role in the business producing the weekly accounts, and through business partnering provide essential financial analysis to key stakeholders across the business.

Description

The Commercial Accountant will be responsible for:

• Producing detailed and accurate weekly accounts
• Providing a rolling forecast with subsequent analysis and commentary of potential risks
• P&L reporting, providing commentary of the P&L performance and any variances
• Assist with the annual budgeting process
• Liaise closely with key stakeholders within the business, providing financial assistance for any decisions
• Ensuring the accurate and detailed completion of month end processes
• Assist with any system or process changes

Profile

The successful applicant for the Commercial Accountant will be:

• ACCA/CIMA part-qualified
• Experienced in an FMCG or equivalent working environment
• Confident in building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders in the business
• Be exposed to a number of accounting systems, Cognos modelling would be advantageous
• An expert user of Excel capable of V Lookups, Pivot Tables and Macros
• A driven and ambitious individual keen on team success and achieving progression
