Venn Group is currently recruiting for an Accounting Specialist on behalf of a multinational business based in Coventry.
The successful candidate will possess all round accounting experience and support the finance function in maintaining a robust control environment and on-going integrity of reporting, in line with local, US GAAP and SOX requirements.

The successful candidate will possess all round accounting experience and support the finance function in maintaining a robust control environment and on-going integrity of reporting, in line with local, US GAAP and SOX requirements.
Duties will include:
- Develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge of key financial accounting processes, systems and procedures
- Use knowledge to support in improving the control environment
- Design, develop and implement standardised, robust and effective control mechanisms
- Perform monthly reviews of consolidated results including in depth analysis of key revenue and expense elements
- Review financial processes and/or statements that are complex such as revenue, contracts and commissions
- Evaluate and identify financial risks, compliance or control issues
- Participate in the external audit review process, providing guidance on key control activities for an assigned area
Key skills required:
- A qualified Accountant would be preferred (ACCA, ACA or equivalent) but is not essential
- An audit background is ideal but is not essential
- Experience of working in an international business would be beneficial
- A driven, self starter with good communication skills
