AR accountant

A renowned international Oil & Gas drilling and exploration company is looking to recruit a suitable candidate for the said position. 

Position: AR accountant

• Accounting and Financial reporting knowledge along with billing and collections procedure.
• Preparation of assigned customer statements and reconciliation of invoices status.
• Coordination with HQ for submission of invoices for assigned segments and related monthly output sales tax compliance.
• Interaction with client Finance and technical departments to track invoices cycle.
• Timely communication of client queries to related segments and management; Resolves collections by examining payment history & credit line.
• Procure the efforts of sales and senior management when necessary to accelerate the collection process.
• Communicate & follow up effectively with sales department regarding customer accounts on a timely basis. 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Perform other assigned tasks and duties necessary to support the Accounts Receivable Department.
• Having sound Microsoft Excel skills.
• Participation in team planning meetings and regular reporting to direct supervisor
• Role involves 50% office related work and 50% clients visit to follow on clients
• The candidate should be an ACCA new Member or Affiliate. ACCA Finalist having the requisite experience may also be considered.
