Financial Controller

Operating as part of the UK management team, this is a superb opportunity for an experienced Finance Manager/Controller to join this global business. Having the autonomy for the UK and overseeing a small team, you will be responsible for all aspects of financial, management and statutory accounting and control, with a reporting line to the European Controller. You will work closely with the Operations Director to partner and advise on financial performance and improved systems, processes and business plans. All aspects of general accounting, payroll, month end reporting, budgeting and forecasting, year-end review and tax computations will come under your remit. This role requires someone who is comfortable working in a very hands on capacity, but someone able to manage up to group as well. You will have strong technical accounting knowledge, strong Excel and ERP systems knowledge and ideally be fully ACCA/CIMA qualified.

The role will include but not be limited to:

* Statutory accounting and liaison with auditors

* Monthly and annual reporting

* Weekly cashflow management

* Process and systems improvements

* Manage banking, insurance and pension provider relationships

* Liaison with external auditors

* Development of budgets and financial plans

* Mentoring the finance team

* Ad hoc projects and reporting
