Tax - Senior Manager - Transfer Pricing

PwC Jamaica has an opportunity for a Transfer Pricing Specialist to join our Tax practice in a senior capacity. In this role, you will join a strong international network of dedicated transfer pricing specialists with advanced training in economics, accounting, law and project management, ready to work with you. Primary Responsibilities Drive the development of a local and regional transfer pricing practice. Apply statistical tools to establish the sensitivity of intercompany pricing strategies to relevant macro and micro-economic factors; write industry research studies; develop transfer pricing documentation. Assist with pricing arrangements between related business entities and negotiation of advance pricing agreements (APAs). Identify and address client needs: build solid relationships with clients. Support the Tax unit with Taxation support as needed Thorough knowledge of corporate tax including international tax research, compliance and consulting Must posses keen attention to details. Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels. Ability to apply business and global acumen to execute tasks. Proven ability to co-ordinate, collaborate and work effectively with other parts of the business, identify internal barriers and resource constrains and define collaborative working mechanisms to produce results. Minimum Academic Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Economics, Statistics, Accounting or other related field. Other duties as assigned from time to time. Capabilities: Extensive knowledge of the economic analyses and resolution of complex global tax and finance issues faced by multinational corporations; including restructuring, divestitures, valuations and intercompany transactions. Demonstrated change agility and ability to multi-task and meet critical deadlines with minimal supervision Education: One or more of the following credentials is required: MBA, MS/MA, PhD, CPA, JD, or Enrolled Agent certification/license. Experience: The preferred candidate will have: Minimum 8 years experience in transfer pricing Other Duties: Travel expected 50% of the time and will vary depending on home location and project requirements.
