Based in the heart of Dublin's Silicon Docks (Dublin 2), our client has been at the forefront in changing the Internet and online technologies as we know it.

They require a Financial Accountant to join them, initially on a 11–month contract. In this role, you will be an integral part of the financial planning and analysis process and have the opportunity to work with global teams.

What will a Financial Accountant do?

• You will be responsible for functional spending financial reporting, variance analysis, and other analysis done for senior management, and will be a subject matter authority in our reporting tools.
• Oversee and drive monthly and quarterly close activities. Provide support on finance issues, policies and practices by working as a liaison between the business and finance.
• Manage review of business performance by building and presenting key performance indicators for critical spend drivers.
• Ensure business compliance with policies and procedures.
• Maintain, build and implement internal controls. Work closely with cross functional teams including Corporate Finance, Technical Accounting and Procurement.

What does the Ideal Candidate look like?

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or equivalent practical experience.
• Qualified ACA, ACCA or equivalent. 2– 4 years PQE.
• Experience in a corporate finance role.
• Experience in financial analyses.
• SQL or Python (please note this would be nice to have but not a must have)
