Financial Controller - Warwick Salary to £60k
Sheridan Maine are working exclusively with a progressive organisation based in Warwickshire due to growth this service sector business is now looking strengthen the finance department. They are seeking an ACA qualified Financial Controller on the upward trajectory in terms of their career development
The Role
The company has a strong reputation in its niche. During this phase of the company development they are looking to make the financial controls framework more robust and also desire to automate a significant proportion of the business processes.
Other Duties and Responsibilities
- Production of Accurate and Timely Management Accounts
- Production of Statutory Accounts
- Liaise with External Auditors
- Manage robust Financial Controls
- Tax computations, R&D tax, VAT
- Manage Cash reporting / forecasting
- Consolidation of multiple entities
- Ad-hoc projects i.e. acquisition accounting
- Mentoring and lead a small finance function
What Are We Looking For?
- ACA Qualified Accountant with 3 years PQE
- Technically up to date
- IT and system literate, ability to improve system and processes (system is Sage Cloud)
- Strong user of Excel able to automate functions and develop reporting suite
- Experience / ability to manage and mentor a small finance function
What Is On Offer
This role is ideal for a Financial Controller who enjoys building strong controls and developing efficiencies by automating reports and setting up new suites of reports. The right candidate will be driven , proactive confident with the ability to influence stakeholders.
