Job Responsibilities: Provides recommendations and contribute to the development and implementation of the Group's Project Management Methodology Ensures all duties are performed in compliance with the Project Management Methodology Manages the execution and implementation of all assigned strategic projects throughout the Group Manages all project documentation throughout the project life cycle, capturing all requirements and key information to effectively manage baselines Manages Project Report and track critical activities to measure project performance and manages deviations Prepares and executes presentations to Senior Management and Consultants Develops and maintains a network of contacts within the project and efficiently attends to requests for information for project execution Follows up with team members on performance baselines and provide feedback and suggestions for corrective action to the Head, Group Project Management Office or appropriate authority Provides support and coaching to the Project support staff to ensure the development of resources and achievement of organizational objectives Plans, coordinates and executes training as part of project execution for end users, support staff and project team members Maintains the project management configuration system and manages archiving of project information to ensure best practices and lessons learnt can be retrieved for future projects and research Manages changes presented for all initiatives using the established project change management process Engages and coordinates discussions with appropriate stakeholders to review and provides recommendations on contracts and other legally binding documentation governing project initiatives Provides input to ensure key areas are included in project budgets and ensure the management of these budgets to prevent deviations Actively provides recommendations and inputs for continued development and maturity of a Project Management Centre of Excellence Produces and manages comprehensive and detailed project plans for special strategic projects Establishes appropriate Key Success Indicators in collaboration with the Project Sponsor and manages trade-offs between scope, quality, time and cost Provides input into the Group's Strategic Planning process to ensure that there is appropriate focus on strategic projects and that the Group's portfolio is optimized Evaluates performance of strategic projects against Group Strategic Plan benchmarks on a periodic basis Conducts regular site visits locally and abroad to monitor project progress, scope projects and coordinates onsite visits and project audits with consultants and the project team Completes special projects and other related activities as assigned by the Unit's Head Qualification & Experience: Candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree in a Business related field from a reputable University and be a qualified Project Management Professional with three (3) years progressive experience in Project Management, at least one (1) of which must be at the Supervisory Level OR Executive Diploma/Diploma and five (5) years progressive experience in Project Management, at least two (2) of which must be at the Supervisory Level OR GMDP Certificate and seven (7) years progressive experience in Project Management, at least three (3) of which must be at the Supervisory Level The ideal candidate must possess prior experience working on complex projects involving cross-functional and international project teams, as well as the ability to work on multiple complex projects concurrently Proficiency in Microsoft Project software and MS Office suite, as well as the ability to work independently and with virtual teams are also required. Prior experience working with HRIS/SAP will be an asset
