About the role

We're looking for a Junior Management Accountant to join our Money 20/20 finance team in London. This role would be ideally suited to someone with an accounts and finance degree who is looking for their first job. The Junior Management Accountant will work as part of a small team with lots of development opportunities and study support. Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Provide support for managements accountants on daily finance tasks, including in depth analysis of accounts and expenses and preparing journals
  • Contact point for the business for all AP related queries, including vendor set-up, purchase orders, payments
  • Perform aspects of month end processes, including analysis of revenue and cost and preparation on journals.
  • Balance Sheet reconciliations, including capitalisation of assets
  • Cost tracking/management, working with team to ensure forecast costs remain within budget.
  • Support in the annual budgets and forecasting processes.
  • Support internal and external audit process
  • Support in the daily, weekly and monthly sales reporting and granular segmentation of data to support the individual events.
  • Gain experience in different areas of the finance function, including trade reporting, business partnering and financial accounting
  • Ad-hoc projects/analysis as requested.

Your experience
  • Bachelor's degree educated or equivalent
  • CIMA / ACCA part-qualified accountant or the intention to qualify
  • Previous work experience, e.g. internship, university placement year etc
  • Demonstrable Excel and Powerpoint skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate effectively with leadership
  • A confident, highly motivated team player
  • Thrives in a challenging, fast paced and dynamic working environment
  • Good problem solver with intellectual curiosity
