What will I do as the new Actuarial Analyst?
- Supports the production of the actuarial deliverables required for the Solvency II annual/quarterly submissions
- Supports the actuarial team in its contribution to the company’s statutory accounts and to budget forecasts
- Be a key contributor to the transformation of the team’s operating model
- Produces ad-hoc analytical actuarial studies to demonstrate ongoing appropriateness of models and methodologies used within the team
- Participates in the upskilling of the team, in particular shares programming knowledge with the rest of the team
Am I the right person for this Actuarial Analyst role?
The successful candidate must have the following experience:
- Actuarial or insurance background
- Strong IT coding skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Strong communication skills
- Strong analytical or statistical skills, precision, attention to detail
- Problem solving skills: creative, appetite for developing new solutions
- Degree (preferably in Economics/Science/Business)
- Good progress towards actuarial qualification
Desirale experience includes:
- Prior work experience in actuarial role - can include internships
- IT skills: Python, Power BI, other languages
